RandumInk: …today’s “standards” are complete garbage. This is in the vein of North Coast’s BA Old Rasputin if you’re looking for a correlate. So drinkable even at the ABV.

RandumInk is drinking a 15th Anniversary Madness & Civilization by Hill Farmstead Brewery at The Germans
Thanks so much, AAA — Quite the blend for this 15th Anniversary M&C; I’m sure I was primed for it since I knew it was a thread, but that Tawny Port finished component is awesome here—not full on Port like Port Damon, but this brings some awesome…

Joel W: Agreed. I'm waiting a bit to have can #2 as this batch seems off (though not bad at all)
RandumInk is drinking a Double Barrel Truth (2026) by Tree House Brewing Company at The Germans
Wasting no time. Indulgent but poised; I like this more than last year’s and more than regular Truth. Let this warm before you even open it, and you’ll be rewarded with an already-opened-up melange of Bourbon candies, rich chocolate crème, faint wood…

RandumInk: …spice, warming spirit character, chocolate-char; opulent, decadent body that’s certainly for sipping and best for sharing. Now where’s the triple barrel?
RandumInk: …notes of this brightening, almost apricot, orange spice amongst the more familiar chocolate, vanilla-oak, maple whisper; on the heels of TH Truth & variants, I find this far less sweet & wonderfully nuanced.
