Liquid Samoas on the nose; coconut macaroons, chocolate, & vanilla. W/ time & temp, barrel integrates, bringing smoke & fresh oak. Palate more subdued in sweetness; bittering coconut, chocolate w/ undertones of malt, tobacco, & a touch of smoked maple.
Incredibly well-balanced. Coconut macaroons & chocolate truffles on the nose; spicier, oakier notes integrate after time. Palate w/ a lot of coconut, contributing both richness & bitterness. Barrel character boost the vanilla & adds great spice & warmth.
