750ml bottle share. Sour red berries drenched in sweet Sherry. Tinges of grape syrup infused coffee, figs and raisins. A little salted liquorice before a jammy red fruit and sponge cake sweetness. Drying red berry sourness returns in the finish.

This is insane! On the nose we've buttery fruitcake/fruit loaf and red stone fruits. To taste, thick, buttery fruit cake with that sherry barrel really coming through.

This had changed with age... slightly less thicc and rich an it used to be. Slightly more tart from the sherry barrels with the age. This is spot on still though!

Dark roast malts, cacao, molasses, soy sauce, light PX. Hazy, very dark brown, small, creamy, beige head. Light sour. Sour, dark roast malts, citrus fruits, lemon and lime, drying burnt toast, soft carb, full bod. Terrible palate.

Rich. Very, very rich. Sherry has almost completely overtaken it. Dark fruit and tart cherry. Tannic and vinous. Uber dry, oaky barrel throughout. Hints of dusty cacao. Suspect this is about the best time to drink this.
