The Brett - Organic Stock Ale (2017) by Little Earth Project

Share. There's a lot to unpack here! Undoubtedly heavy Brett. Some of the sherry the 2016 has developed. Higher carb, which seems to serve it well. Booze not especially hidden. Bitter finish, which just goes on and on and on...

Share. Drinking insanely well right now. Heavy cherry & almond, zesty lemon and bourbon. Earthy blackberry rising in prominence towards the finish. All coming together to a real cocktail of a flavour. Murky and intense.

Share. I will never get over how beautiful Cantillon's beers are. Horse blanket, green apple and oak for days. Drinking really well (semi-)fresh.

Share. Absolute funk fest. Peppery character has run riot! Dry white wine. Plenty of apple in a backup role.

Saison Hallertau by Mills Brewing

Can't disagree with the description - malt, hops and yeast in brilliant balance. Gentle, building funk and a heady oak influence. Hints of lemony citrus fruit and either rhubarb or something close? Another Mills that's incredibly dry.
