27 Aug 2021. This is absolutely phenomenal. My wheelhouse 100%. Grape must, vinous and semi-bitter, floral tones, cork/oak and mild crittery funk, yoghurt, lemon pith, man this is exquisite.

Grassy, green onion, hop oil, grapefruit rind, CLEAN as fuck. Beautiful.

Boozy, heavy, bitter cocoa (like 96% dark), raisin/anise, huge oak/bourbon warmth, sticky, burnt toffee.

Earned the You Don't Know Brett! (Level 12) badge!

Not loving this one. Still beers always creep me out a bit. And this is weirdly boozy, almost with hints of acetone. Lots of vinous grape but again, overly boozy and weird, kinda pungent. A rare miss from De Garde.

A noice palate cleanser. Crispy and refreshing.

Light, crisp, effervescent, hint of tartness, lots of brett and mild barnyard funk, cobweb, faint pear skin.

Idk if this is the correct check in but there is no other entry for bronze/gold wax and the bottle has no info. I don’t get any vanilla from this 🤷🏼‍♂️ However, as a “plain” barrel aged stout, it’s excellent.

A good barleywine, but slightly underwhelming. Lots of rich brandy/prune notes, bourbon and sweet caramel, raisin, faint cocoa dust. Surprisingly thin body compared to original batches of Aaron. Again, it’s good but expectations were higher.

Very nice but perhaps not fair having it after so many other world class stouts. So it seemed a little… “tame” by this point?

Yogurty lacto sourness, lots of hay and yeast and lemon rind with a soft mineral body. Finishing sharp tartness. Super nice!

Very nice stout. Rich cocoa, bourbon, roast, toasted oak, hint of black licorice.

Earned the Beyond a Shadow of a Stout (Level 36) badge!

Awesome but it just tastes like regular Nutmeg. And I LOVE regular Nutmeg…but I can get that for less than half the price 🤷🏼‍♂️

Insane as always. Raisin fudge brownies, charred brown sugar, faint licorice, boozy wood, almost get some mild barleywine flavors in it, like burnt toffee and rich prune. Super complex. Awesome.

The least sweet “Triple” IPA I think I’ve ever had, loaded with juicy hop flavors, only a mild sugar cookie and bready sweetness in the background. Earthy, herbal, citrus rind, this is GREAT.

Tons of brett. Tastes like a hay bale. Grassy, dry, faint funk, clean and light.
