Andrew Lord is drinking a Transatlantic Krush by Wylam at The Farmer's Boy
Aroma & taste is that plastic tub of M&S tropical fruit salad again, this time family sized, & liquidised, with slivers of tangerine & grated grapefruit, struck match & freeze dried herbs; atop med-thin oaty malts; then pine sap & astringent black tea.
Andrew Lord is drinking a Lights Out by GlassHouse Beer Co at The Farmer's Boy
Ripe, juicy passionfruit soaked in woodland berry fruit pulp, scattered with a few waxy pine needles, petals & dank buds on the nose; & taste with woody nectarine & physalis atop pillowy medium-density oaty malts; then punchy pine resin & bitter dank buds

Andrew Lord is drinking a Lizard by Duration Brewing at Beer Shop | St Albans
Pretty aromas of chopped tangy white grapes & gooseberry skins mixed with ripe papaya, lychee & squishy peach, all scattered with leafy green herbs & mandarin peel and sploshed with fruity white wine on the nose; & to taste, atop soft, nutty, oaty malts.
Earned the Super Style: IPA - American (Level 83) badge!Andrew Lord: If anything, I may have been slightly mean with my score!
Andrew Lord is drinking a Happy Camper by weekend project at Beer Shop | St Albans
Juicy bruised mango flesh soaked in orange squash, scattered with grated grapefruit peel &, surprisingly, a few petals on the nose; & to taste, though the mango becomes woodier, atop nutty, husky, waxy, oaty malts; then a herby leaf-litter hop bitterness.
Andrew Lord is drinking a Quantum Foam by Azvex Brewing Company at Beer Shop | St Albans
Slices of preserved lime, chunks of soft pear, and candied lime segments dipped in cracked black pepper, all scattered liberally with jelly tots on the pretty nose; & taste, with lime marmalade atop med-thick oaty malts; then too much cracked black pepper
Andrew Lord: Never been super-keen on HBC-586, it’s no different, of course, under its sexy new “Krush” name-badge. I love the juicy tropical base notes, but it’s hard to get past the sulphurous (wet dog/Burton Snatch) twang. A hop best talked over than talked about.
