Chuck C: I've only spent 2 days in Toronto so maybe I missed the best breweries, but definitely better beer in Montreal.
Darcy is drinking a Charlie: Raspberry by Hill Farmstead Brewery at Untappd at Home
Tart, earthy and very lemony crème fraiche with subtle but deep raspberry flavour. Tasty, refreshing and quite liver friendly. Would be great to see this in cans.

Darcy is drinking a Stella Artois by Stella Artois at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth
View > beer, but it’s what’s in the bar fridge. Have really enjoyed this Montreal trip. Coffee, food and beer selection - miles better than Toronto on a good day.
Purchased at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth
Darcy: Rent in Toronto is so expensive there are very few places making good beer. Godspeed is the only brewery I’d go to. Have several places to visit next time in Mtl (Pit Caribou, Beauregard, Mellon). Hope you enjoyed Montreal.
Darcy is drinking a La Fin du Monde by Unibroue at NYKS Bistro Pub
Superb Belgian tripel. When it bottles at the LCBO it has tasted like oxidized shite; whereas on tap, just brilliant will tons of orange esters and baking spice.
Purchased at NYKS Bistro Pub
Darcy is drinking a St-Ambroise Oatmeal Stout (Noire à l’avoine) by Brasserie McAuslan (St-Ambroise) at NYKS Bistro Pub
Nitro pour. Rich and roasty. One of the best 5% stouts from anywhere.
Purchased at NYKS Bistro Pub
May be a bit cool but I’ve got Goldfinch and House, Song and Chipping Sparrows 🐦 to keep me company. A bit floral; a bit earthy; dry; drier than a typical bitter but still very tasty. Biscuity; hint of anise. Very nice bitter.
