Nice malts. So smoky you don’t appreciate what must be toffee, fig and date flavours until the finish. I prefer the Märzen.
Tart. Sour. A proper sour ale not a fake sour lacto ferment. Some lemon/lime from the tequila barrels; I think neutral or reuse oak would be better (lower diacetyl + cleaner fruit profile). Good length on the finish. Just take the sour, Terry, take it.
