I'm not sure where this has been cellared for 5+ years, but it has suffered. Very pale comparatively and full of floaters/sinkers. It's as if it's been in a window all that time. Unfair to rate this as it is so oxidised and poorly kept. Half sinkpoured.

Alison Taffs is drinking a Harvest Ale (2018) by J.W. Lees & Co. at Untappd at Home

Hazy/opaque caramel brown colour. Menthol and toffee/brown sugar on the nose. Bitter at first, then the CO2 prickle raisins &barley sugar, brown sugar flavour (but not sweetness) mint. The menthol is really dominant on the finish with a little bitterness

Scarcely any head. Dark and cloudy. Alcohol and fruit on the first inhalation. Appears to be lots of sediment too. A pleasing sweet alcohol bite at first, with a bitter finish. This is considerably more full bodied and satisfying than the ‘19 version.
