Happy Halloween. This is 5 years old now so hoped it was peaking. Mostly drinks like a spiced English barley wine. There seems like a burn from rye aswell as nutmeg, cinnamon & the ABV. Rich smooth malty, cola, maple and bourbon. Is a mellowed sipper.

Had this in the cellar since 2018 and it was definitely improved with age. Alcohol heat has mellowed but the barrel and pumpkin spice notes are still there. Complex and malty without being too cloying.
