Dream Mine

Dream Mine utilizes a somewhat rare German noble hop called Saphir, The hop typically appears in lagers, but since I couldn't make a lager with it, we made an ale instead. This beer is straw gold in color. Bone dry, the hops outshine the malt with a perfumey lavendery herbalness that is quite pretty. That's a good way to describe this beer: Pretty. It is not bitter, just slightly aromatic from a good amount of Saphir in the dry hop. That makes this beer a hybrid of sorts. It's no pale ale, and would be a lame-duck on the right side of the beer board. It also is too complex and the aromas are too robust to imitate a lager. Show Less
