Day 4. The only New Zealand beer in this years calendar, there were a lot flavours going on; from citrus, spice, pine and resin. Although it had some good things going for it, the hop bitterness was a little too over powering for me personally.

Day 3 of the Beer Cartels 2021 advent calendar. This was a bloody good Porter, got a good amount of chocolate and roast flavour with a slight sweetness. I felt like I was drinking s’mores in liquid form!

Day 2 of Beer Cartles 2021 advent calendar. Another beautiful IPA, got a lot of tasty peach and apricot flavour from this one, had a nice creamy mouthfeel, with a good bitterness towards the end and a flavourful after taste.

What a way to start the month, This beer was delicious. Packed full of fruits and berry flavour, with a really nice light creamy mouthfeel. A perfectly balanced IPA, the hop bitterness wasn’t too sharp and didn’t linger longer than it had to.

Day 5. This was a really solid Black IPA, haven’t had too many black IPAs before but this had a nice biscuit and caramel malt flavour followed by a mellow resiny taste. The bitterness was just enough for it to still be enjoyable and not too overwhelming.
