Extraordinarily smooth, medium-rich body. Grape, petrol, somewhat herbal - then when the bottom of the can went in it became almost lemon-minty.

Really quite odd. Spaffed up the gaff, ridiculously. Kind of oily, sticky texture, slightly bitter and grainy, flavours akin to unbaked chocolate cake. Not hateful but not worth finishing either. Weakest and weirdest of the Veil stouts I've had
