Eric H.: bitterness as the otherwise fairly sweet finish wraps. Much better than I’d have guessed from ancient memory.

Can ~3 years old (best guess)/ Nose of slightly musty tangerine tinged with staid euro-hop minerality. Mouth remains crisp, slightly metallic ~citric acidity fizzing over dank semi-fermented cantaloupe and metallic tangerine. Briefly juicy wash dries >
Eric H.: ..moderately abruptly punctuated by crescendo of prickly fruited considerable spice.

Eric H.: ..zest cresting over creamy fullness. Finish follows the bitter oil but mellows.
Eric H.: *Picked up from the “Craft your 4 pack” section at Wegmans. All of the dated selections were at least a couple of months past canning, so I expect this was the same. Seems pretty fresh even if a couple of months old. Quality possibly affected by age.
Eric H.: As this warms the cakey fullness becomes a little muddy. The brighter lemon aspect remains soapy. This is okay, nothing special. Would be nice to compare with fresh.

LCI two days hence - Rating is approximated
Eric H.: spritely effervescence and spice which mellows swiftly. Finish is muted but pleasant. Little doubt this has lost some pop since canning, no doubt affecting rating.
