Great cherry with spicy black pepper on the nose. Cherries dominate the profile with a soft not sharp pepper . No funk. A little peppery tingle in the finish. Would pair well with cheese, fruit, and bread.

Definitely is not an Imperial Belgian Stout. The profile aromas, flavor, and mouthfeel are of a Belgian Dubble. Did the Monks have to much to drink on the day this was bottled? I think maybe mislabeled. Dried currents/ raisins and dry finish.
