This reminds me of the undertow and being sucked under the current because this has a slight watery taste to it, but it makes it very drinkable. It has a light sweetness to it, and finishes with a slight hoppy bite.

This black IPA is exactly like a mermaid in proportions. Half fish half human for a mermaid. Half roasty half hoppy for the beer. The roasty flavor is tame and complements the hoppy. It is a noble creature of the ocean and this is a noble black IPA.

A captain always goes down with his ship! If this beer was on the ship and the captain was drinking as the ship was blown to bits by cannons, he would go out of this life happy. A balanced tartness to it with lemony and almost grape flavors. Salty too.

This pilsner stands out from others because of the rye. It gives it a nice bitter and salty finish, more on the salty side. The middle has a decent grainy and malty flavor to it and quite crisp. I rather like the bitter but I just calls ‘em as I sees ‘em.
