Oshiro

A style we don't brew often but one we're always very excited about. A Japanese rice lager brewed with a premium grain bill consisting of floor-malted Bohemian Pilsner malt and some choice, Jasmine rice. From there we implemented a new technique known as dip hopping. Dip hopping is a process developed by Japanese brewery, Kirin, in which hot wort is pumped over hop pellets inside the fermenter. We then continue the knockout with cold wort and proceed as normal with our typical lager process. This added step unlocks nuances of the Saaz hop resulting in a balanced, yet crispy sipper. 4.7% ABV Show Less
