Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Stauning Heather Whisky Edition

The first batch Two Heads Behind brewed back in 2018 was an Imperial Stout. A small portion of this brew was stored on a Stauning whiskey cask that previously contained Stauning Heather Whiskey, which is a heather smoked single malt whiskey. A whiskey like Stauning himself describes as follows: “The smoke is mild, delicate and sweet - not overwhelming. The barrel storage has given Imperial Stout # 1 an incredible touch from the whiskey, which is notes from the oak, the smoke, the sweetness and an enormous fullness.
