The fruit kind of detracts from some of the stouty characteristics. If I had to name the fruit I don't think I could say it was blackcurrant if I hadn't known. Saying that, it was fruity and rich and I enjoyed it and would buy again

That's good. It has even more chocolate notes than the Impy version of the Candlewick. Deep and rich. Starts with a lot of currant flavour, followed by woody tannines, followed by dark chocolate and nice long bitterness. Good one.
