sean m. is drinking a Jambo by The Wild Beer Co at Belper
This plays with the senses.. cocoa smoothness with a smack of raspberries which leads to a gentle sourness. Intense chocolate on the nose.
sean m. is drinking a Nasturtium Saison by Beer52 at Belper
Quite thin tasting, has a slight citrus sharpness, with a pepper bitterness, which hits the tip of the tongue. Next beer check in is my 1000
sean m. is drinking an El Dorado Murky by Beer52 at Belper
Another comparison ale. Grass on the nose, with a real pear fruitiness with a subtle apple mellowness. Not overly bitter or dry. Pleasant.
sean m. is drinking a Citra Haze by Beer52 at Belper
A comparison NEIPA with just the hop changing in the recipe. Juicy citrus with a bitter aftertaste. A slight stoned fruit lingering.
sean m. is drinking a Monster Soup by Time and Tide Brewing at Belper
Hop bursting aroma complimented by a resinous hop induced flavour. Slightly citrus, bitter and dry, a good all round IPA.
sean m. is drinking a Solar Sour by Hawkshead Brewery at Belper
A little lemon sour with a slight charcoal edge. A little burnt sulphur on the nose, but not enough to be off putting. Initial sharpness.
Purchased at Beer Metropolis
sean m. is drinking a Gladjanus by Brouwerij de Eeuwige Jeugd at Belper
This beer has a marmalade aroma, with a complex malt and citrus bitterness. Not overly dry, a full on mouthfeel and is pleasantly drinkable.
sean m. is drinking a Torrone by Beer Ink at Belper
This has more honey than anything else. The chocolate is smooth, but could be more in your face. The almond offers a little more sweetness.
sean m. is drinking an Even More Jesus by Evil Twin Brewing at Suds & Soda
Black molasses lasts long on the tongue. .. coffee and chocolate hit you like a breeze block. Get some.
Purchased at Suds & Soda
sean m. is drinking an API Lairepmi by Stigbergets Bryggeri at Suds & Soda
Full on citrus blast. Strong and complex I could drink this all night.
sean m. is drinking a Sunday Morning by FUERST WIACEK at Suds & Soda

sean m. is drinking The Devil Made Me Brew It by Arbor Ales at Furnace Inn
What is this? It's not a porter and not a golden ale and yet it looks and tastes like both.
Purchased at Furnace Inn
sean m. is drinking an Orange Mocha Frapp Stout by Tiny Rebel Brewing Co at Furnace Inn
Very dry, presumably brought on by the Orange, which are barely recognisable. Coffee and chocolate hide behind the pith. Served too cold
sean m. is drinking a Hokum Stomp by DEYA Brewing Company at Furnace Inn
Smooth chocolate on initial taste, but then taste doesn't linger. Bitter with a slight coffee edge.
sean m. is drinking a NEIPA by Beer52 at Belper
Juicy and bubblegum flavours are at the fore. Has a peachy/plum aroma and subtle bitterness
