Andy Turpin: As mentioned before. There's a lot of similarities with the remarkable Harvey's Imperial Stout. Slightly less complexity but that's understandable as this is 2% lower in abv. Great beer though!

An unexpected find in East Grinstead. Lovely thick, rich, roasty stout. Sweeter than I recall but definitely not a sweet ale. Liquorice, molasses. There's considerable bitterness that swings to an almost tart note on the finish. Terrific imperial stout.
