I was surprised to see the 2021 on this can after I brought it home, since it’s supposed to be stored cold and it wasn’t. Happily, taste doesn’t seem to have suffered. Charred oak is apparent amidst the mostly chocolatey goodness. Slightly boozy.

My wife's brew tonight, but I sampled it. Malty with a nice charred vanilla backbone. Warm, but not boozy. Solid prototypical imperial stout. Didn't have any in prior years to compare, but aging it likely served it well. Cheers 🍻
