Born For Greatness

We love anything West Coast here at Middle Child, especially Black IPAs, which we hope to see more of this year. This is a clean hop-forward BIPA with well balanced Citrus, Stone-fruit and Tropical notes. A smooth lightly roasted body with a dry finish.

In this beer we used a profile of Pale Ale Malt, Caragold, Munich Malt, Dextrin Malt and Acidulated Malt in the mash then capped the mash with Carafa Special III to achieve the colour. Hopped with Cascade, Centennial, Amarillo and Mosaic in the kettle and dry-hopped with Amarillo and Mosaic. Fermented with Safale American US-05 yeast. Show Less
