Sour stouts were briefly a thing in the 2010s, and I always enjoyed them, so it’s fun to see JK doing one now. Oak barrels help blend the flavors of chocolate, coffee, blackberry, cherry, balsamic, soy sauce.

Blend #8: 2/17. Considering it was bottled 9 years ago and stored room temp for a good portion of that time, it holds up very well! I get hints of roasted coffee, cherry, and wood. A funky vintage treat.
