Jacobsen Experimental #005

We don't turn water into wine, but wine into beer. Jacobsen Experimental #005 is brewed from fresh Chardonnay and Rondo grape skins, which are a by-product of wine production. The grape skins enhance the natural aromatic flavours that occur during fermentation and contribute to a beer that is a balanced hybrid between wine and beer. NO

The method is part of a larger research project from the Carlsberg Research Laboratory, which is researching how surplus products from food production can be used to brew new, unique beers.

Good as an aperitif and with light salads, shellfish, lobster, grilled salmon - or even with less sweet desserts such as cheesecake or strawberry tart. Show Less
