[2017] Bottle from my cellar. No. 14213. Great deep and woody nose. The beer starts intense and deep. Fruity with woody parts, long and deep caramel. Malt and wood, not too much wood, the whisky is peated in the back. Fruity parts of plums and dry peated.

A lively one! Aroma of stewed dark fruits. Quite rich with more of the dark fruit which is close to the flavour of sultanas and dates, no doubt from the whisky's sherry influence. There's an oaky quality on the finish with a subtle alcohol heat.

From RB. Mild sourness, some sweetness and kebab with rice. Mild sweetness, malt, warming alcohol and also strange Lambic like sourness. Lame beer with strange sourness. Alcohol is quite well hidden. I think Auchentoshan is best served without Fuller's.
