Old beer is, occasionally, amazing beer. Solid raisin note on tongue, but evaporates on palate to nothing. Beautiful.

Brewed in 2000. Fascinating arc of flavors. Smells a bit like a barleywine, some bright notes still left in the middle, and funk in the endgame. Amazing.

Michael Knies: Jezza I have at least one more. It was past prime but still very good. I posted in old money tickers FB page and Tomme Arthur wrote “my man…wow.impressive open.” :-) old beer still amuses me sometimes :-)
