Nose is fresh poached rhubarb with a hint of sugar. Lovely acidity & perfumed fragrance, unwashed stems adding earthiness. Soft funky nubuck leather & a ‘dull’ soda water mouthfeel. This is not dull however, it may be a bit rough but the fruit shines.

A few chunks of not yet ripe rhubarb added to a bowl of unsweetened school dinners rhubarb with a spoonful of cottage cheese on the nose; taste is tart but juicy rhubarb dipped into slightly salty cream cheese, with bright lactic acidity & creamy funk.

#CheckInMoreThanOnce Sbs with Cantillon Nath 2023, the "winner" in my opinion. The rhubarb is beautifully perceptible on the palate. Very nicely balanced with a subtle acidity.
