Full Moon A Weizen

These wheat beers always seem to taste beer about a month after bottling. This is the last one of the batch, the rest are promised to someone. I’m not a huge fan of these beers but maybe I’ll do it again next year, now that I finally got the hang of it

Ok. Post fermentation flavour witbier is getting pretty damn close to Belgian Moon. My teenager really likes it. Maybe I’ll brew it for him once he’s 18. Otherwise it’s time to brew the Hefe this weekend!

Giving up on wits. I did some post fermentation flavouring on these last couple, it’s not bad but it just not a beer style I really like. Lessons learned and Time to move on. Need to take a stab at Belgians this fall.

The raspberry version of my wheat beer. Surprisingly not disgusting. I may try it again.

Compared my wheat beer side by side with B.S Wit. Mine needs to be higher attenuated, the BS is much drier.

It’s beer. It should have a creamy head, but it doesn’t. Turns out this yeast is supposed to make Hefeweizen like flavours but it doesn’t.
