Ye Ole Overseas

Real Barrique fans will remember Overseas, an Export Stout that we released in January of 2021. Well, we kept a bit of that stout in reserve and aged it in Nashville Barrel Company 9 year Rye barrels for 26 months! Just like it's younger brother Overseas, Ye Ole Overseas was brewed with Maris Otter, Chocolate malt, flaked barley, roasted barley, and a generous amount of native Tennessee blackstrap molasses. A complex aroma of Robusta coffee, burnt sugar and dried figs greets the nose, leading the charge for flavors of molasses, roasted coffee, caramelized brown sugar, and rich dark chocolate rounded out by a heavy bourbon character and oak tannins.
