Grapefruit zest throughout. Notes of white grape, lemon, and melon come to the fore. I bit of dankness but subtle in this one. Fun addition to the base.

Man immediately smell the peppercorn, cinnamon and peanuts. Lends a tobacco feel to it. Savory is the word. Pepper, a lil cardamom, tobacco, "meaty". Wow this is weird. Love/hate? Don't know but it's fun. Will Hunting: Yeah, at least I won't be unoriginal

Cellar pull. 2+ yrs on this. Bouquet is still potent. Jammy pomegranate. Super jammy and tart in the mouth. Bunch of acidity but then just floats away. A little brown sugar on finish. Great stuff.

Joey Weather is drinking an I'm Grander by Sapwood Cellars Brewery at Team Sujo's Tavern

Tastes like my morning coffee when I put some vanilla creamer in it except better. There's not some highfalutin beer science at play here. Just a nice roasty dessert beer with just the right amount of sweetness. Good as a nightcap. Try not to overthnk it!

Carotene Green by Sapwood Cellars Brewery

Yep, smells and tastes like a ramped up Drenched in Green aka a Simcoe DIPA. I think it's improved over the regular which is pretty cook. See tasting noted of green/resinous. Can say that with a couple weeks on it that has mellowed.

This just has all the goodness. Tangerine, OJ, peach rings, some pineapple. Some green there and hop resin. Doesn't finish too dry and goes down way easy at 10%...at 10pm.

Drinking at 55F. The nose is red wine w/elements of roastiness, wood, and whisky. In the mouth I get red grape tannic notes mixing w/sweet dark malt adding some heft even w/the thinner, still body. Dry finish. This needs smoked beef to play off of.

Another cellared beer. Served at 55F. Smell is sweet cinnamon and tobacco. The woody tobacco and sweet but dark chocolate notes are rich. Full bodied and velvety smooth. Booze presents but not overpowers. Has aged beautifully. 4.5 still.
