Wow. Another home run from Skydance. Dense foam, hazy pour, and a sublimely balanced palate. Overall less bitter than many others, but the finish screams, “drink more.”

If you like a grapefruit IPA, this beer is for you. Began as a test beer. Nelson Sauvin & Rakau hops, which I’m not familiar, are the key contributors. I find the grapefruit flavors beyond my preferrence. This beer is ok, but like a sour, not my thing.

DDH West Coast IPA, but I think Simcoe is ruining my palate. I swear it has a bitter flavor my tastes buds don’t dig. That said, it’s just barely noticeable for me in this one. Still a detractor.

1200 miles of driving…needed a beer. Staying local with a new winner. Tasty IPA coming in on the low ABV side of a DIPA, but it’s well built, balanced and easy drinking.

Referred to by some as sex in a canoe, but water is for wussies. We all need to hydrate and this one does the trick just fine.
David Nyikos is drinking a Scorpius Morchella by Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. at Richard L. Jones Jr. Airport (RVS)
Not sure about mushroom hunting, but an excuse enough for an amazing DIPA. Min running the ABV, the west coast flavors steal my palate. Really nice beer from this Iowa brewery.

Ok. A milkshake DIPA that lists milk and sugar as ingredients is questionable. Much like my previous pink unicorn beer, this is surprisingly good. Milkshake visual, hoppy nose, medium carb with a tight foam. You taste the milky sugar, but somehow it works

Very nice offering from Skydance here. Solid hoppy nose, tight foam, balanced malty bitter palate, smooth with a touch of fruit, finish lingers with a bitterness you’ll enjoy enough to rush to the next swig.

This is, exactly, what you’d expect from a Stone Anniversary beer. Yep. Amazing. Would I buy a case…immediately if I could. My only gripe is bitter over balances malt in the finish. Maybe in the 27th year’s beer!

Staying local. Lighter but still can’t escape the east coast hazy IPA genre. Maybe I like Comet…Simcoe is ok…and the jury is still out on Strata. Nice series of beers coming from this brewery though.

As local as I can go. Seasonal, east coast, and stretching at DIPA mins. Lazy, hazy but balanced. Nice way to cap off a holiday with family. And a cool holographic can…bonus.

Aiming for min impact to proper Christmas dinner consumption. Success. Well named. Not one I’d have again m though.

Staying local with this one. Unfortunately it showcases Mosaic, one of my least favorite hops. It’s a well enough made beer with a balanced palate and finish that’s East coast all the way.

Going local. OKC brewery. On the low margin for a DIPA but it’s gotta lovely nose, a balanced palate and a fine finish. Nice beer.

Winning label, winning beer from this McKinney TX brewery. Really interesting choice, with 2 kinds of cryo hops. Nice balance, with a simple bitter finish. Nicely done. Back in the country of IPAs!

Another double digit early check-in, another Oklahoma beer, and another well built beer. Almost no nose would be my only negative. Pour slightly hazy, clean palate that is wicked balanced. Not sweet. Not bitter. Not boozy. Well done.
David Nyikos is drinking an A$AP Hoppy by Stonecloud Brewing Company at Richard L. Jones Jr. Airport (RVS)
What a lovely beer. I’m digging the cryo beers I’ve tried. Pours like an apple cider. Muted nose. Palate is full with a touch of residual sweetness. Finishes with a lovely bitterness that fades and begs another swig.

Ok the name is well done. The beer is well built. Dank for sure. Creamy more than tropical. Finishes with a bitter that fades quickly.

A very nice IPA. Pours clear, opens crisp, finishes clean and ever so gently bitter. Worth a try…definitely.
