Charlotte NC Micro. Pours hazy & golden. Citrus 🍊 aroma. Drinks bright & clean. Smooth and very well balanced. A hint of lemons 🍋 and a kiss of hops. Not as aggressive as this style can be in the Czech Republic 🇨🇿, but true to form. 😋 ❤️ 🍻

My favorite Charleston SC Micro, but not usually a style I reach for. But… Pours hazy gold. Smells of a wet pine forest. Opens sweet and bright and floral and full great promise. This is IPA done RIGHT, full of charm & hospitality. I adore this one! 😘

Charleston SC Micro. Black. Mild nose. Runs that fine line between Porter and Stout! Has the big flavor profile, some creamy sweetness and a higher ABV (7.2%) like a classic Porter. Yet it drinks like a Guinness on steroids. This is one BOLD Stout! ❤️

Another one from HHI, a small batch put in their limited run cans. Unfiltered and reddish gold. Strawberry 🍓 aroma. A hint of sweetness, a kiss of fruit, and a whole lot of Witt and Belgainy goodness. Very light and refreshing. At just 4.2% ABV it’s safe

Charleston SC Micro. Munkle has really impressed me. I love their lineup so far! The can art is lovely as well. This Belgian 🇧🇪 style Tripel pours unfiltered and bronze gold. Drinks very authentic, to include the spicy yeasty malt & estery hops. 8.2%ABV

South Carolina Micro. Pours semi filtered and a lovely amber color. Slightly sour nose. Definitely malt forward, with a sweet caramel vibe and a well balanced hop presentation (exactly as promised on the striking label). Smooth, light and refreshing. 🍻

Another stab at a Lexington KY brew. I’ve tried several, and all were okay, but none have WOWED me. But DANG, this one is GOOD!! Dark, still & deep. Not much nose. Lots of complex yet subtle flavors. Brown sugar, molasses cream. 12% ABV, so be warned. 😵

Charleston SC Micro. Lovely can art. Beautiful pour. Lightly filtered and suede colored. Fruity aroma. Drinks very Belgian 🇧🇪 with a Southern Hospitality 🇺🇸 twist. The malts are spicy and warm. Hints of 🍌 and bread. Delete and delicious.

Maryville, Tennessee Micro. Black pour with minimal but tan head. Cocoa nose. Opens warm, deep and creamy. Sweet, yet not syrupy. The malt backbone is distinctive and on point. 10.1% ABV, but you won’t know until you stand up 🤣. Might lager well!

Pleasant surprise from a HHI local Micro. Pours copper. Apple cider nose. Nice dry, almost Brett vibe, with a fruity spicy malt. Humble, yet cultured.

Another rainstorm on HHI, but we are under an umbrella and warmed by our fire table. IT IS A PORTER from a local Micro! Dark with a toasty nose. Opens with nice semi-sweet and dry chocolatey malt. Good solid bones. Good solid Porter.

Another night down here, another Georgia Micro. Unique can art 😛. Pours golden and unfiltered. Very mild nose. Drinks VERY light, but also refreshing. I’m not getting all the flavors promised on the label, but there is enough to keep my interest.

Fascinating offering from an Atlanta GA Micro. Honestly, coffee & IPA turned me off at first, but DONUT MILKSHAKE? I am IN! Pours a flat funky hazy pink. Fruity aroma. But OH WOW, it is good! Pastry, tart berries, vanilla powdered sugar and cream!! ❤️
