Ian is drinking a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Laika (-2016) by Straight to Ale at Gretna Amphitheater

It is not as rich as I expected and a little more bitter, but is roasted and creamy. The aging in bourbon barrels is not really noticeable. Not sure how it will age. Opens up a little as it gets closer to room temperature. Ok.

A solid stout. A little bitter, but has a balanced sweet side. Adjuncts are subtle. Coffee is there, and vanilla is mild. Smooth with a slight creamy feel. Pretty decent.
