Quite grassy, some wine type flavors from the Nelson Sauvin but was kind of underwhelmed by this. Can date was mid-June so it could have been getting old.

I got this wondering if a BBA DIPA would be just a malt bomb, the answer is kind of but not completely. The bourbon does crowd out the Citra unfortunately but the brewery did a nice job of preventing it from being a sticky gooey mess. Needs a DDH version

A bit of a malt bomb tbh, quite sweet. Founders kind of disappointed here…
Adrian is drinking a Sunday Transfer by Masthead Brewing Company at Emily Traphagen nature preserve
Don’t believe the 0 IBU’s… BUT this is citrus overload. Lots of tropical fruit here with quite the hop bite at the end. In that way, it’s not a NEIPA but is good nonetheless

Wasn’t as good as billed… no real citrus here, just lots of hops and bitterness.

Classic pale ale but almost has a bit of Belgian yeast type taste on the finish
Purchased at Giant Eagle Supermarket

I think this is the perfect IPA of any variety. Great juice, mouthfeel and impeccable balance of hops and malt! This is THE king of beers!

Phil Po: This was at my house, not the Preserve. Calm down.
Decent… hard to tell what citrus is hops vs adjuncts
