All three of the flavor additions are there—vanilla, chocolate, pistachios, but it’s missing the magic bourbon county base. Sure the booziness comes in and you know the barrel’s fury but the interwoven BCBS base is a bit lost. Still great, I’m down.

Very similar to 2012 but there is a bit of oxidation here and it appears more vanilla forward. Chocolate caramel boozy yum.

Listen Binny’s, I don’t like you and you don’t like me, but whoever chose these barrels knows her sh!t. Aroma of cocoa and molasses with smooth body, certainly sweeter than others in deep woods series but plenty of toffee and baking spice notes to balance
