Nose of enormous amounts of dry cocoa. Intense cocoa on the tongue with plenty of maple and a little vanilla coming through. Sweetbitter.

Cocoa-y and slightly lagery nose. On the tongue, the lager quality shows it’s source as the roasting of the malts. Good color. Good porter.

Sweet nutty nose. Lots of boozy dark bitterness in the tongue. The sharp booziness interrupts the beautiful dark bitterness.
Good rich roastiness. A bit of sweetness, partly from the barrel aging, and a little cinnamon. No perceptible heat.
