Nathan U is drinking a Patronus Premium Weissbier by Lidl Deutschland / Germany at Untappd at Home
Bought at Lidl. "Powered by Perlenbacher", but I think it’s brewed by Eichbaum in Mannheim? Taste is genuinely decent for a Hefe under €1. Full, bit banana aroma, wheaty, slightly sweet. Just lacks complexity and oompf compared to more expensive ones. 5%.

Exactly like a Belgian Schenkerla, but maltier and with the typical Gulden Draak aftertaste. Aroma’s of smoked sausage, roasted malts, dried fruit and the typical smoked beer palette. Great complex addition to the range, but not meant for everyone. 10,5%.

Bintang is the Indonesian word for "star" and is the best-selling beer there. Founded in 1929 by Heineken. Taste is hop-forward, but not that bitter. Little taste: bit sweet, some malts, bit skunked and watery. Dry finish. It’s ok when on a beach. 4,7%.
Nathan U is drinking a Holger by Brouwerij Martens at Untappd at Home
Both the label and taste are of budget beer quality. Tastes like nothing, slightly bitter at most, bit of strange aftertaste, brewed with corn and watered down to 4%. But for €0.29+10ct deposit, the price is unbeatable. Student beer, only buy when cheap.

From Hornberg in Black Forest. I prefer the old design, but lots of info on the label! Taste is very dark, even for a Dunkelweizen. Aromas of dark chocolate, bitter cocoa, roasted malts & bit caramel. Great quality, but I’d preferred less bitterness. 5,2%
