Michael W: I don't think I still have a 2013, but I do have some oldies of this, we'll have to break em open soon. Tis the season π

Loryn Kelley is drinking a Cherry Oud Bruin by Moody Tongue Brewing Company at Great American Beer Festival
The volunteer just poured me a hefty sample. Damn it. This was good. Cherry forward. Dry maltiness. Not overly sweet. Giving merlot kinda vibes. Highly recommend. Cheers!

Loryn Kelley is drinking an Alpha Hop Society 2022: In Stout of Ourselves by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. at Great American Beer Festival
I finally tried a Sierra Nevada at the fest. They had a pretty good selection. This one was pretty tasty. You get the maple, vanilla, and chocolate. It's a little too sweet for me, but I still enjoyed it. Kinda likens a smore. Cheers!

Loryn Kelley is drinking a Pumpkinator (2013) by Saint Arnold Brewing Company at Great American Beer Festival
Final late check-in from Friday! I saved this for last. I could not believe that they were serving a 10 year old stout. I had two samples. Time has lightened the color and enhanced for spice. Pumpkin notes. Well-balanced. I am lucky!

Loryn Kelley is drinking a (512) Whiskey Barrel Aged Double Pecan Porter by (512) Brewing Company at Great American Beer Festival
I'm late to the game on this one. I'm not sure why I haven't had this before. Truth be told, I like it more than its namesake. Though, what isn't better aged in whisky barrels? Pecans + Whisky = This Delight

Loryn Kelley is drinking a Scoops On Dunn by The Bruery at Great American Beer Festival
If I'm not mistaken, this is a blend of two beers? They aged two different beers for nearly two years each. Both aged in bourbon barrels. Then, they blended them together. It works! It was dangerously smooth for 19% beer. Creamy and rich. Recommend.

Patrick Daly: Seems to be a good day at GABF!
