Our adventure begins in 2005 in Borgorose, a small and old mountain village in the central Italy, on the border between Lazio and Abruzzo, in the natural reserve of “Duchessa Mountains”.
Courage, passion and a pinch of madness guided Leonardo di Vincenzo on his journey through Europe to rediscover the ancient brewing styles of Belgium and England and rethink them through an Italian perspective.
You will discover a story of hospitality, territory, people, beauty, ingredients and techniques to enhance them. We have never stopped experimenting the research on indigenous yeasts, the use of techniques borrowed from the wine world, the atypical ingredients and the use of uncommon fermenters.
Ours is a story of little and great collaborations, with different people and cultures, to rethink the classic idea of beer in a unique way, ours.
