Fantôme Saison D'Erezée - Été (2014)

Probably past it’s time but not hating this. Apple cider notes with some spice.

What a wild lifespan this beer has had, from totally flat to gusher, from weird strawberry flavor to a straight Flanders red like it is now.

Less vomit than fresh. Green apple, peach, lettuce, jolly rancher, weed funk

Last one of these and holy shit it carbed up completely! Lovely Flanders red tart berry flavor but no acidity at all.

2014. Gusher. Green apple, tart, pukey lemon, mellow funk, herbal tea, earthy. Hard time getting in same wavelength as this one. Not like the magic early Etes

Another wild one. Flanders esque Fantome! Musty plum, orange, cherry, tannic red wine, a little cocoa, with that unique Flanders tartness, but without the vinegar.

Used to be flat, now a gusher. Some fermentation took off and it wasn’t the right thing; this isn’t quite gross but it’s a little off and the attractive fruity quality is gone. Who knows though next bottle could be amazing...

This carbed up a tiny bit and it's insane! It somehow became the best Flanders Red that I've ever tasted

Malty with some subtle acidity, I haven’t had a tome in forever.

Ghost beers from the wonderful Fantôme! Much like a Flemish brown or red, without the acetic character in those styles.
