Nate is drinking a Double Barrel V.S.O.R. by Revolution Brewing at Grodziskie Gardens
Malty barrel drenched depths previously unexplored by mankind. Limitless layers of complex oak character, thick caramel figgy toffee pudding malt, an almost maple like sweetness, perfectly balanced by massively complex towers of old oak tannin.

Lots of rich dark sweet cherry juice alongside a touch of funky lambic and a frothy finish. I remember this being better but perhaps there's some bottle variation. Averaging out to a 4

Fairly light body, clean biscuity malt, funky Bretty straw and a touch of leather, a little tangy leafy hop. Finishes spritzy and dry. Excellent as always, I really hope Epochal continues to appear on US shelves

Big caramel chees and rich toffee malt, lots of creamy rye and oak entangled with bold sweet malts. Maybe cleaner than previous batches if that makes any sense? Great stuff as always
Thick milk chocolate, a surprising amount of fig and anise, a wonderful creamy mix of vanilla and coconut, and a bit of rich toasty complex barrel in a chocolatey finish.
