Sour Farmhouse Raw Wheat Ale

A beautifully complex sour, reminiscent of classic Belgian sour beers, this farmhouse sour uses a complex base of malts including over 50% wheat with more than half of that being unmalted raw wheat. This creates a substantial amount of residual starches to feed the mixed Brettanomyces culture used in the barrel ageing process. As at the most recent release in May 2019, this beer had spent 16 months on French oak to add aroma notes and a great tannin structure.
