I was expecting this have fallen apart-- maybe even reveal notes of green pepper or some other abhorrent flavor that occasionally happens with vanilla. This held up nicely and the boozy notes mellowed out into general sweetness over roasty malt notes.

Shared at Mills Lake this morning. Amazing how well it held up! Rich dark chocolate, marshmallow/vanilla and bourbon. Thick and oily feel. A perfect destination beer!
