Decade old Barleywine. Smells like prunes. Tastes like prunes and somewhat metallic. Still some nice toasty, caramel and even hop bitterness. Dusty bitter cocoa nibs come to mind. OK but dusty and musty.

One a day historical check in, drank February 2011. Vanilla, caramel, dark fruit and berry aromas. A little floral. Rich chocolaty flavours with a burst of marzipan, coconut and vanilla. Nice alcohol burn. Sharp bitter finish.
