Prince Albert

The high-fashion beer of the railway age, the strong, sweet and highly hopped beers of Burton-on-Trent were synonymous with expansion, colonialism and the Industrial Revolution. The sulphate rich local water helped to accentuate the flavour and bitterness of the English hops used. While the style eventually conflated into IPA, our Prince Albert pays homage to the highly hopped styles of the Victorian era without the need for genuflection.
Taste: Full malt with a rich English hop character from Fuggle and Goldings.
Hops: Fuggles, Goldings
Malt: Pale, Medium & Dark Chrystal Malt
Look: Coppery in colour, white creamy head.
Aroma: Full malt aroma, caramel, toffee, earthy woody and floral notes from
English hops.
Alcohol/ABV6.5%
Bitterness/IBU: 52
