Motor oil color and thickness, clings to the glass. Mouthcoating, huge body. Everything is extremely well balanced, great chocolate/brownie sweetness, relatively low vanilla rounds it out. Can see an airy/creamy ganache or mousse. Great Christmas beer :)

Travis Foster: There's a nutty desert note. Moves into a tartness, great cherry and a heavy bourbon/brandy sharpness. Defined, deep tobacco, charred wood and cozy fireplace smoke that come through clean. Unlike most stouts I've had, can see the value :)
