You’re a sir, Brandon. Before I even removed the cork, beer started to leak by the cork so I thought it would be a gusher or corked. Nay! This is fantastic. Nice, clean lager base that’s crisp, yet the red wine barrel shines. Nice acidity to balance.

Still doesn’t remind me of a lager…..very different than Prayer Group. But it’s unique and fun. Lots of oak and like a cross between a saison and a gueuze. Subtle funk. Refreshing and crushable on a hot AF day.

Klart gyllengul i färg, festligt bubbel. Vinös doft med inslag av ekfat. Lätt, porlande munkänsla, strävt avslut. Komplex smak med jästigt, lite fruktigt/jordigt som övergår i tydlig syrlighet. Lager som göttat till sig mot lambic i lagringen. 😋

Martin Kalen: Andra korken från The Veil som är farligt nära upplösningstillstånd efter lagring, tyvärr ingen toppenkvalité som pallar liggande lagring... Hade tur med denna som precis börjat mögla på toppen men lämnade en perfekt dryck därunder!
