Strata Amarillo

We made a few small changes to our Strata Amarillo IPA: Water profile, malt bill, hopping schedule, yeast strain - these kinds of things. The reboot (according to the crew) has produced some seriously juicy results, so we recommend getting a splash into your gob ASAP.
Along with malt mainstays, Pale and Carapils, we’ve thrown in some wheat, as well. This aids in head retention while contributing to the beer’s fine opacity. On a hop front, it’s the cast and late ferment additions that really bring the fruit – that and the Verdant Ale Yeast.
It pours pale gold, with a fluffy white head. Expect concentrated aromas of pineapple, strawberry and tangerine. On the palate, find more fruit (think mango, lychee & apricot), a gentle hop bitterness and a delicate malt sweetness, too. Show Less
