Chris Thomas is drinking a Double Chocolate Mild by Peak Ales at Lost In West Bar
Vanilla pod nose. Rich sweet chocolate taste hints of liqueur chocolate but nondescript licor and poor cheap chocolate. Low hop as mild should be and think malt provides strong backbone. Wish more character then chocolate biscuit notes might come through.

First time at Lost; previous incarnations of Bar Stewards (went once) and West Bar Tap (never went) having gone under. Certainly my first mild at 163 Gibraltar Street so hope this place lasts a bit longer. Tasting lovely even though it’s almost all gone
