Andy S: Needless to say, the East Kent Golding hops got lost. Quelle surprise.

Andy S is drinking a Meles Meles by Wander Beyond Brewing at Untappd at Home
Latest in our taste test of WB strong’uns and both agreed that this was rather lovely. Understated but the spirit barrelling might have killed it if it had been any stronger. A proper strong beer.

Andy S is drinking a Cocotella by Vault City Brewing at Malt Disley
Confess that VC have rarely floated my boat, with too many ‘silly’ fruit beers that just weren’t ‘beery’ enough. This is a very sweet choccy stout, but maybe because this conforms to a standard for coconut impies I really like it for excelling. Sticky.
Andy S is drinking a Magazine Cover by DEYA Brewing Company at Malt Disley
Having had a good keg session pale (from Marble) I had to break my duck on this DEYA ‘standard’ … and somewhat disappointed, to say the least. Very thin and it even looks watery. The best advert for cask beer.
That is a quality brown ale - best I’ve had for quite a while
